Fifteen kilos is a lot of headroom for a kitchen scale, and it is the reason this one handles a turkey, a stockpot or a sack of flour as comfortably as it weighs two grams of yeast. Precision sensors sit under a flat tempered platform, so there is no bowl to work around and any container you already own becomes the vessel.

The tare function is what makes that work in practice. Set a bowl down, zero the display, add the first ingredient, zero again, and a whole recipe is built in one vessel with nothing else to wash. Readings settle quickly rather than drifting, and the display is bright enough to read from standing height under kitchen lighting.

Power comes from an internal battery charged over USB, so there are no coin cells to hunt for mid-bake and no battery drawer to corrode. The scale is slim enough to live in a drawer or stand upright behind a canister, and the sealed glass platform wipes clean after a flour-heavy session. It suits baking, coffee brewing, meal prep and portioning equally well, and the unit switches between grams, ounces, pounds and millilitres, so a recipe written for one system does not need converting on a phone with floury hands halfway through a method.
