The Felix borrows that honestly rather than as decoration, with a heavy body, a deep shade and visible functional detailing instead of a smooth decorative shell. The deep shade is doing real work as well as setting the style. It throws light downward in a controlled cone rather than spilling it sideways into a neighbour's window, which is what makes an industrial fitting a good neighbour on a boundary wall.
