Felix Industrial Outdoor Wall Lamp
Industrial lighting earned its look by being built for places that punish fittings: workshops, loading bays, boatyards and barns. The Felix borrows that honestly rather than as decoration, with a heavy body, a deep shade and visible functional detailing instead of a smooth decorative shell. On a courtyard wall, a garage or a back door it looks like it belongs there rather than like a design choice.
The deep shade is doing real work as well as setting the style. It throws light downward in a controlled cone rather than spilling it sideways into a neighbour's window, which is what makes an industrial fitting a good neighbour on a boundary wall. It also shields the lamp from rain driven in at an angle, keeping water off the hottest part of the fitting.
The body is sealed and finished for permanent exterior use, and the form is robust enough that a knock from a ladder or a wheelbarrow does not end it. Mount it high enough that the cone covers a working area rather than a single spot. Exterior mains wiring should be installed by a qualified electrician on a suitably protected circuit, and the fitting mounted into solid masonry or timber rather than cladding alone. Stocked as part of the Veyra Home outdoor lighting collection.
