1400ml Double Layer Bento Lunch Box

Fourteen hundred millilitres across two stacked tiers is a full meal rather than a snack: a main in the lower layer, salad or fruit kept separate above, and a fork and spoon clipped into the lid so nothing is forgotten on the counter. The two layers lock together under a single clasp and travel as one compact block in a bag.

Each tier seals with a gasketed lid, which is what keeps dressing off the rest of the bag, and the walls are moulded thick enough to survive being packed under a laptop. The body is microwave safe with the lid removed, so a hot lunch is a two-minute job at work rather than a queue at the canteen, and everything except the seals goes on the top rack of a dishwasher.

Adults use it for meal prep, students for school lunches. The footprint fits a standard lunch bag and most desk drawers, and the flat lid means a second box stacks on top in a fridge without crushing what is underneath. Where a child is heating food, an adult should handle the microwave and check the temperature before it is eaten, as containers and their contents can heat unevenly and hot spots are easy to miss.
