Lighting a garden from the ground is what separates a designed scheme from a security light on a bracket. Placed low and aimed upward, this fitting grazes a wall, a hedge or the trunk of a tree, picking out texture that daylight flattens and leaving the space between pools of light properly dark. The effect is closer to landscape lighting than to illumination, and it costs very little to achieve.

Three sizes are offered, and the choice genuinely changes the result. The smallest suits edging a path or lifting a low border; the middle size handles shrubs and fence panels; the largest has the throw to wash a wall to full height or light a mature specimen from below. Mixing sizes across a garden gives depth, since not everything should be lit to the same intensity.

The body is sealed for ground-level use where water collects and drains, and the fitting is designed to sit among planting without demanding a clear space around it. Aim it away from windows and seating so the light lands on a surface rather than in someone's eyes. Any exterior mains wiring should be installed by a qualified electrician on a properly protected circuit, and cable runs through planting should be routed where a spade or a fork will not find them later. Part of the Veyra Home outdoor lighting range.
