Outdoor Chair Cushion Seat Pad
Garden chairs are almost always uncomfortable by design: slatted timber, moulded resin and powder-coated metal are chosen for weather resistance, not for sitting on for two hours after dinner. A seat pad fixes that in the cheapest possible way. This one is filled firmly enough to hold its loft rather than compressing to a sheet within a fortnight, and covered in a woven polyester chosen to take sun and damp.
Ties at the back corners fasten the pad to the chair, which sounds minor until the first gust of wind sends unsecured cushions across a lawn. The cover resists fading in direct sun, sheds a light shower rather than soaking straight through, and dries quickly if it does get caught out. Several sizes are offered so the pad matches the seat rather than overhanging the front edge of it.
Bring the pads in or store them in a box when the weather turns, since no outdoor cushion benefits from a winter left on a chair. Sponge them clean with mild soapy water and let them dry fully before stacking. Used sensibly they turn a set of hard garden chairs into somewhere people actually stay sitting, which is usually the difference between a patio being used and being looked at. Stocked as part of the Veyra Home outdoor cushion collection.
