Wave Resin Acacia Wood Cutting Board
Each board pairs a slab of acacia with a poured band of tinted resin that follows the natural edge of the timber like a tideline. Because the grain and the edge differ from board to board, no two pours are identical, and the piece reads as something made rather than manufactured. It is as much a serving surface as a chopping one.
Acacia is the reason it lasts. The timber is dense, closes over knife marks better than softer woods, and holds oil well, so the colour deepens with use instead of drying out grey. The resin band is sanded flush with the wood, giving one continuous surface with nothing to catch a cloth or trap crumbs.
Bring it out for cheese, charcuterie, bread and fruit, or use it as a landing pad for a warm dish on the table. Wash by hand in warm water, dry immediately, and rub in a food-safe board oil now and then. It is not dishwasher safe, and long soaking will lift the grain. Keep heavy knife work to one face and reserve the resin side for presentation, and the board will stay flat and handsome for years. Its weight is the quiet luxury here: it does not slide across a counter while you work, and it carries a loaded cheese course to the table without flexing. Stocked as part of the Veyra Home cutting board collection.
